Called my neighbor, property manager for a huge retirement community, and asked who they use for AC problems. She gave me Steve's number and he was here before 1 PM. Quickly determined the compressor start capacitor was bad and thank goodness he had an American made replacement in his truck. Our AC was up and running in no time. Steve measured the current draw, put the cover back on and we have cool air.
